  • I have just read "A year in the merde" and the follow up novel "Merde actually" by Stephen Clarke. 
  • He describes the adventures of a Englishman who has the idea of setting up a Tea Room in Paris.  It is very funny.

  • Jean Reno is one of a group of mercenaries employed to capture a suitcase.  Great car chases and action scenes

  French Connection I & II

  • Jean Hackman starts in these films about the Marsaille drug traffic trade.  Classic car chase scene in the first film.  In the second film Hackman is forced to become a junky.
